League to Dubai Competition

Hi,
I'm thinking of entering the the League to Dubai Amateur competition and wanted to get some thoughts from other people that know about it, It's a new competition so wondered if anybody else had seen it?

Def looks good and decent price, only slight niggle for me is that all the competitions are off the yellow tees! For that reason I think I'm out.

Yeah I asked them about that and also about when you have to play matches, they said they have to play off yellow as some clubs dont allow visitors to play from whites, and playing from yellow meant the competition was fair to all, they did say the regional and finals would be played from a mixture of tee placements, they said the matches have to be played over a 4 month period so that it doesnt interfer too much with other club competitions people may need to fit it....think i will enter this weekend

Ah, but you get 3/4 handicap in singles

Where as a 4 handicapper would lose 1 shot a 20 handicapper would lose 5 shots so yes it does favour the lower handicappers
