I played my last day as a single man today. Played shocking, but pulled off some great recovery shot, and finished 2 under my high handicap. Looking forward to it coming down this season.

Tomorrow I fly out to get married in Jamaica. And true to form the first day we're back I'm out on a society day :D

Luckily the lovely lady already accepts that I'll be pracising a few times a week and playing minimum of once a weekend, sometimes twice. Wow I'm lucky. :p

Just hope I manage to get a game in over in jamaica too. :D

Congratulations on the upcoming nuptials, and on finding a wife who understands your golfing habit!

Best wishes for your future together.

Wait until you get back and she's got your name on the dotted line. I see weekends in Tescos B&Q and then eventually ante-natal classes, followed by baby sitting duties and then kids classes on a Saturday morning. You'll be lucky to get a game in the next ten years!

Have you got a friend like this then Homer????????

Congratulations by the way. Hope you have a safe journey and everything goes well for you
;)

I played golf on my honeymoon. I managed to find the only island in the Maldives with a range and some sort of course (9 hole pitch n putt).

My wife and I have worked golf around our daily lives so it does not interrupt.

We played 8 times in 16 days on our honeymoon here :D :D :D

Congrats matey,

I too am booked in for my final round of freedom, albeit the morning of the wedding on 21st April.

7.55 tee off with my best man at Matfen Hall, northumberland, Need to be off the course by 12pm which isn't a problem, suited and booted then down to meet and greet guests before the 2pm ceremony.

I've been living with my B.O.H for 4 years now so she is used to the golf playing equal fiddle.

Congratulations. Nice place to get married. Good to have an understanding wife. The acquisition of screaming brats will be the only cloud on your golfing horizon.

Already got that covered. I have a 4 year old daughter who already seems to understand my addiction :D
