Another win on the Challenge Tour!!

His record makes for incredible reading!

Events played = 6
In the money = 6
1st = 4 times
3rd = once
4th to 10th = once

Stroke average = 67.57

Euros = 116080.00

Do we think he will kick on among the European Tour elite?

He may be better staying on for another year of grounding!!:lol:

Sounds as though this lad has some potential, although I must admit I know absolutely nothing about him!

Is it like in the States where (currently) the top 25 of the B tour receive PGA tour cards for the next season automatically? Or will he still have to go to school and try his luck (or rely on sponsors invitations?).

I think I am right in saying he can still go to Q School and try and improve on his standing to get his further up the 'rankings' for next years events but either way he is still guaranteed starts on the main tour.

He has struggled so far on the main tours events though.

He qualified for the main tour as soon as he won his third event on the challenge tour, he was playing last week because it was in his native country I'm guessing. Even if he hadn't he would get a card for next year from his challenge tour ranking (top 20 get cards). The challenge tour cards take priority over the cards from Q school and are the best way of getting onto the main tour. The school cards will not be worth the paper they're printed on next year as with the number of co-sanctioned events on the schedule and the loss of events in Spain etc, they will get into very little.

Certainly has the potential but it's a huge step up to the main Tour and staying there.
Without looking I think he's had some starts on the big Tour this season but hasn't contended. Yet....

I think Broberg has got to be one of the finest scandanavian players around at the moment. his golf is clearly flawless and we may have our first scandanavian major winner in him,not that i want to speak to early or anything. Alex noren is also fantastic!

Big gulf between the challenge tour and the main event and many have struggled to bridge. He does seem the best of the current crop but it'll be interesting to see if he goes to Q school to try and improve the ranking.

See my post earlier, he will not be at Q school as a card from the Challenge Tour is much better than one from the School and he is already assured of a card coming off the Challenge Tour.
