The Goodwood video is worse, almost life threatening imo.

More and more of these incidents are happening at the races, just like it has escalated at boxing, where next?

Fella that got knocked down and then kicked was a groom, not the horsey variety

I’ve not been to Goodwood, but the Ascot one is not a surprise, and it’s been going on for years - you only need to check out the pubs in Wokingham & Bracknell at 9am, to see why this happens. Going to Ascot is a big event for certain people, they hire their suits, order their marching powder, and off they go.... I think it’s fair to say lots of people at Ascot couldn’t give a toss if it was Donkey’s running.

The Goodwood one isn’t pretty with the guys getting kicked on the floor

As a "local" I can reiterate it's getting worse. Many treat it as an excuse to get on the sauce first thing and keep going all day with the racing an almost incidental to getting more booze down the neck. The pubs in Ascot have become a real no go on race days and all employ door staff. It is even worse during the royal meeting and the amount of police and medical staff having to deal with the consequences is unbelievable. It was the same when I went to the Newbury races a few years back. By the time Madness were playing after the meet (about 5.00pm) there were already fights breaking out in the crowd.

Flat racing attracts these sorts unfortunately, even though its a very small minority.

I've been to many National Hunt meetings and have never seen anything like what's happened at Goodwood and Ascot in recent weeks.

What about at Aintree, especially on Grand National day Stu?

I can honestly say i've never seen any bother at Aintree on the occassions i've been there.

I'm not saying nothing's ever happened at Aintree though.

When I saw the title of the thread, I thought Homer had been held up by a four ball again and had taken more than four hours to shoot his usual 31 points.

Why do these videos need to be put up on here?
If you are going to post up crap like this at least get the spelling right, `Kicks of at Royal Ascot`
Makes you look like one of the Neanderthals` in the videos:whistle:

Kicking an already prone (and possibly already unconscious) person the head should carry an attempted murder charge IMO.

Height of cowardness.

Everyone has condemned the violence, nobody is condoning or glorifying it, so no issue as far as I am concerned.

And you’ve been warned before about being a punctuation pedant
Please stop,
We are human and sometimes make mistakes or autocomplete kicks in.
