Sentenced to a minimum of 30 years in jail for the murder of Anuj Bidve. Surely a case for the reintroduction of Capital Punishment?

While I agree 100% Del, you can guarantee there will be "Do gooders" who'll oppose it.

It should have been brought back quite a few years ago when Huntley was caught and convicted.

Although I agree with the sentiment "Hang them". It was due to the hanging of innocent people. That it was stopped. The James Hanratty case comes to mind. The hanging of one innocent is to much. It will not reduce the murder rate either, as no murderer expects to get caught.

The death penalty is not a deterrent.

Agreed. As much as I completely agree that certain individuals deserve whatever is coming to them, whilst their is a 1% chance an innocent man/woman can be found guilty i will never agree with capital/corporal punishment.

Lock them up in the most horrible conditions it is legal to keep them in and let them rot.

Hanratty was guilty, it was proved he was involved 10 years ago through DNA evidence. Saying that i do not believe in the Death Penalty as there is still flaws in the judicial system.
