Australia, Sri Lanka, India three teams that manage to pick their best keeper for their T20 team. Unfortunately it is engrained in the English set up that the keeper finds his batting under closer scrutiny than his keeping.

I am afraid that for Buttler to get the Test spot he will require more than a half season's development.

and those three nations have keepers that scores lots of runs

And im afraid i believe the selectors might see if different about Buttler. He appears to be their man for the future

We can only speculate as to whether they would be selected by their countries if they were not the best keeper.

You may be right about the selectors and Buttler but looking at his face and body language today there is a real danger of yet another good prospect being destroyed by the expectations placed upon him before he is ready.

Having met Buttler he is a very confident young man - its been a poor T20 - the first game was shocker and been on the back foot since. Buttler will be fine - got a lot of steel about him. Made a very brave move going to Lancashire from Somerset
