Just played the round of my life............

So thats were my swing has gone. Played today and couldn't hit the proverbial cows backside. Ive gone from shooting mid 70's to mid 80's within the space of a fortnight.. Do me a favour and send me my swing back will you. I'll sort the postage when it arrives..

Great shooting by the way....

Well done, Moogie. Great score. Was there any point in the round when you thought "This could be a good one" and any nerves/doubts spring to mind?

Great shooting man , can only hope to break par sometime , think if i did i might just stop playing there & then ha ha , just in case i never did it again .. top top shooting congrats

In short, YES, several
Adding up the Front 9, on the Card, was something I could have done without Doing, I knew what Id shot, but writing it down means much more
The 20mins wait at 10th, followed by duffed tee shot, really hurt, but took bogey, only hurting, because the 10-11-12-13 at ours is a Notorious card wrecker, called 'The Loop' , so I did think 'Oh No' here we go, but got round those 4 in +1
No real nerves till last 3, cos I seriously thought then if didnt do anything 'Stupid', would be Sub 70
Cos the last 3 holes are Stroke Index 1, 5, 7, ..... tough finish
But I knocked my 2nd into about 8ft on 16th, felt Id cracked it
Hardest left was 17, into the wind, good drive, 125 out, hit into 6ft and birdied.........massive Relief

But the WORST moment was sitting on the Bench at 10th with another 2 groups in front, and a 4ball of seniors chipping onto the green, thinking HOW LONG are we going to be here.....

Being a few under par at the turn does give this strange sensation of having loads of shots left to play with and still carding a good score, personally I feel it takes the pressure off however I'm sure some people feel like they've suddenly (for some strange reason) got to play out of their skin from there on in.

Nice shooting.. I bet the eagle felt schweeeeeeeet!

My Previous Best was a 72 , level Par ( twice ) at same club, and 72 at a friends course too

Cloud 9...........Yep, U Bet :)

I don't want to rain on your parade, but do you feel that you may have shot the best round in your life ever, already?

I know that's what I felt, but I'm off 9, shooting a four under. Albeit I am still only 41, and feel I can still get down to 6/7, maybe less, but doubt less than 3.

Off 5, you probably can go lower, and probably will.

Just how I felt, but hope its not true, and I get one lower.

Hope you do also.

Id be quite happy if that was as good as it got.........:D
Ive been playing 10 years now, late starter, Im now 43.....!!!.......And i never dreamt Id ever even get to Single Figures, so Im happy whatever Golf has instore for me From now on........

Incidentally Im not off 5, when I referred to 5 H/Cap in a previous Post it was in a response to Imurg, who has the 5 H/Cap
My H/cap is 8.8

I had actually thought Id ended season on 8.4.........but Im actually 8.8, so hopefully I may trim a shot off this season, thats my aim, get back to 8, my Lowest ever H/Cap was 7.8

Good shooting, have to agree last three are tough, long uphill at 16, 17 always seems to be in to the wind, or is that just me. 18 is a bit shorter but the trees still have to be avoided.
How is the course holding up, still a bit wet underfoot ?
