Apparently, a quick blast with a hairdryer softens it and can be peeled off.

Only bit I didn't like was the fact that cutting with scissors could leave ragged edges.

I thought exactly the same, would be a craft knife for me. But I am all over this!!! Some stuff called fablon will do the same and it's dead cheap. Used it in my bike racing days for number boards etc, fairy liquid and a hair dryer. Watch this space!!! I'm thinking yellow...

It does look a lot like fablon, and they have thousands on colours/designs ! Nice and pliable with a bit of heat too !
