Just discovered that two of my woollen jumpers have a single hole in them (one front and one back) which I'm guessing was caused by moths. Where is the best place online to get wool jumpers (ideally crew neck) at a good price and which don't have to be brand names. Also, how can I tell for certain if it's moths and what can I do to prevent the rest of my jumpers getting munched other than stinking the place with moth balls

Woolovers Homer, they are fab and well priced with a good variety of colours. The only bad point is rather slow delivery but it's a small price to pay for great quality jumpers.I have several and am delighted with them.

I bought 2 italian merino wool jumpers from tk maxx last week. £24.99 each. I don't know what the quality is until Mrs DB washes one, that's the acid test for wool jumpers.

May not be Moths Homer...
Check the washing machine first for any signs of anything sharp or protruding......

Secondly if there being dried on a line they could also be getting snagged on this in the breeze.....

Im not much use really but it could be any number of things other than moths. :D

Put some butter in your jumper drawer tonight and tomorrow, check for any footprints.

Also Murray Golf do some nice lambswool sweaters which dont shrink in the wash :)

Bob I have to totally disagree....their stuff is cheaper than most for a reason although the Berwick range is a great wearing jumper but it is 100% cotton.

They may have changed.
I bought mine about 5 years ago and they're still going strong

Bargain sweaters are all over the place and I use all of the usual places Asda, Tesco, Matalan and TKMaxx. As for online, I use Justgolfonline for mine
