Shot a 90 today in the Valspar Championship, career worst score, highlight was the 16th hole. Dunked his drive in the lake, hit a 3 wood into the lake.. reloaded and did the same, he then hit his 7th up the left rough and shanked his 7 iron into the trees right of the green and took 5 to get down.
Costner would be proud.:whoo:

One of the biggest wastes of talent in golf, if only he wasn't a bipolar alcoholic with minimal dedication, but They say all geniuses are flawed.

I can think of hundreds of bigger wasters - sad to hear he's got the yips - I spent an hour watching him practicing putting at St Andrews in 1995 - best touch I've ever seen live
There really aren't many bigger wastes, I have read JD's book and he tells a story about how one Saturday night during a big event on the PGA tour JD was sitting drinking with his buddies and he watched TW hit balls on the range for two hours, then go into the gym for and hour and a half. Finally, TW came out of the gym and JD walked over to him and asked him "Tiger, why do you spend all your time on the range and the gym?" TW replied "John, if I was as talented as you, I wouldn't do half the work I do".

Bit like saying George Best wasted his talent - both of them obviously did long term - but they shone bright for a period - most people don't

And got a shed load of abuse through Twitter for his troubles. Really don't understand how these keyboard warriors can sit at home and abuse people that are vastly more talented than they will ever be. The only answer I can come up with is jealousy. I was lucky enough to be working at the Old Course Hotel in St Andrews during the 1995 Open and got to watch JD win it and also meet him in person. Yes he almost certainly didn't make as much of his talent as he could've done but for someone that has supposedly "wasted" his talent he hasn't done badly for himself.

If you look at his card the round ( and at chance of making the cut) were long gone by the time he got to that hole so why not give the spectators something to talk about...
He's still a big draw with the Sponsors and long may it continue in my book..

I wish he'd get in his motor home and just wait outside Hooters flogging rubbish merchandise and leave the tournaments to the guys who at least look as though they give a single toss.
