IZZO golf bags.......................

I have an Izzo Transporter cart bag(in Orange :) ) and it's excellent. Good quality, loads of space and pockets and a full length rain cover.

That's the one I'm looking at.
I've seen it comes with a full length rain cover, does it come with just a rain "hood" as well or do you have to use the full cover?
Thanks
Rob

You get the rain hood as well. The hood also has a zipped section so you can get to your umbrella.

Thanks for the info!
I've heard back from the ebay seller, he accepted my bid of £55.00 so got it at a nice price.
Cheapest I've seen them in online retailers if £79.99.
Went for the blue one in the end, 'cos I'm a fashion tart...
;) ;) ;)

You're a tart, don't know about the fashion. :D

Well, after playing 3 or 4 rounds (or is it 5?) with the new IZZO bag I am glad to report that it is probably one of the nicest bags I have ever owned, and for £55.00 must be considered a genuine bargain.
Very well constructed, quality parts have been used, and enough pockets to keep anyone happy! Plus two cooler pockets (one each side to distribute weight evenly) means I can carry plenty of cold drinks around with me. Sits on the GoKart trolley really well, I had a couple of problems the first two rounds where the bag rotated slightly on the base and was lying at an odd angle, but I have got around this by adjusting the top strap on the GoKart so it sits against the grab handle of the bag and keeps it nice and straight.
As I say, there are pockets aplenty, and all of them are nice and roomy for all of your "nicknacks".
I like the internal umbrella holder, much more convenient than having the brolly attached to the side of the bag, and the external putter well is proving a godsend. No more chasing back up the fairway to retrieve my putter head cover, if only I could say the same about the bloody stupid covers for my hybrids!
The dividers are plenty wide enough, and I find that my wood headcovers have plenty of room to tuck down the sides of the clubs and protect the shaft.
Not so sure about the built in integral bag cover yet though. Obviously with the good weather we have been experiencing down here of late I haven't had to use it yet, but I'm a bit loathe to, to be honest. I have had a look at it and it seems a good idea in principle, but I bet it's going to take some neat origami type folding to get it to fit back into it's pocket! Luckily the bag also comes with a more traditional snap on rain cover so I think it will be this I use should the weather close in.
So as I say, a great bag...looks the business, does the job, and is worth every penny of it's purchase price.

After flogging some stuff on ebay, I've replaced my Mizuno Speedster trolley bag. After a bit of looking around and a pm or two with Smiffy. I too went for the Izzo Transporter bag. First reason was price. Yes these things are on ebay for £69.99 but I put in a best offer, which was refused, and he came back with £55.

The bag in question has been spoken off on here before. But if you're looking for a bag that has; 2 drinks punches, 2 dry pockets, one being 'soft' lined, plenty of space for waterproofs, jumper, and all other usual stuff, a putter well, rain hood and full rain cover. Then this is worth a look.

Admitedly it's probably not as stylish as some other bags, but if the day to day practicalities are more your thing, then take a peek!

I was considering the new GoKart bag, but somehow, this just pipped it.
