I'm going to limit the number of swing thoughts I have before Hitting the ball. I'm just going to check that my alignment is right and the ball is in the correct location relative to my stance. Of course I'll have to get my weight properly distributed, and on the balls of my feet. I'll check that my grip is OK with the'Vs' pointing in the correct angle. Of course I'll have to keep my back straight before I take my backswing and I must go wide with this. Make sure my belt buckle points away from the target at the top of the swing and keep my left arm straight. I'm not going to start the downswing from the top but I'm going to make sure it starts from the ground up, and concentrate on the follow through to a good high finish and my belt buckle facing the target.
I think that by cutting down on all my other swing thoughts, I'll be keeping things simple. I'll let you know how it works out.
