It's a good job I'm poor ...

Have heard the same from a couple of friends I spoke to from Ealing last night fella. Will be sure to be a bit more careful in future if I go back.

Lime Trees wasn't even the worse venue for having car broken into!

There and elsewhere I started leaving car unlocked with just a serious steering wheel lock fitted and some old 'street shoes' left inside for the drive home...
 
That's that London for you. I left my boot open on my car one morning while i took my kids into school (dont ask me how or why!) but i had over £5k worth of stuff in the boot, clubs, laptops, work kit etc. all still there when i got back!
 
I heard that car-breaker-inners want the sat-nav (& if possible keys) so that they can tap in 'home' and they know there's a 50/50 chance your house is empty at that time

Read somewhere never to set the home location on a sat-nav (I used to set mine to an adjacent street with no house number)

Could you not set home as the local police station :D.
