I'm quite involved with martial arts (Krav Maga) and will be going for my instructor badges
quite soon.
Now the instructor training / exams culminate with 9 days in Israel.

With things the way they are over there politically, do you think its best to stay at home?
Or just go and and not worry about it?

I'd go in a flash. One of the best holidays I've had. Great people and the diving was amazing.

Was a bit expensive then but wouldn't hesitate to go back.

Security was not an issue when I was there except the airport was the strictest Ive ever been in.

I think the fact your even asking is maybe making your mind up........

don't they have training in other countries as well?

My father in law (name drop) Grandmaster Samuel Kwok - wing chun - often goes to these dodgy ass places and comes back alive.

Recently he was in Angola and south Africa...he's been to all the dodgy asian countries and frequently goes to Russia.

P.s. YouTube Samuel kwok one inch punch...that why I don't mess with my father in lawl
Lol

Did it for you http://youtu.be/iLR9VINPCkM

Been twice, the first trip was 12 days to fit 2 Sat phones to liftng barges for Mersk. We finished the work in two days and spent the rest touring around. It was without doubt one of the most fascinating places I have been we got home two days before the Gulf war kicked off.
As said airport security was something else we were split up and grilled for an hour and a half on why we were there, where we had been, how we travelled around and why an Israelie company did not get the work etc.

I'd go but if you are planning to travel to other countries that are not friends with Israel then you may have issues with a visa stamp from there in your passport.

Cheers

Steve...

I would be aware of this, if you intend to arrange future travelling around the Middle East etc!
