is there anyone on here that is actually managing to get a game?

down to play wednesday in the main course in Adare....Got it for 50 euros.....The great thing is for the past 7 weeks its been snow white here and this morning i woke to all greenery and rain  :D :D

Temperature has gone up to a blistering 9 degrees and is supposed to stay like that until thursday :) :)

It'll be my first game in nearly 2 months because of the Polar weather.

Hang tough fella's....The weather were getting here in the West of Ireland is coming in off the Atlantic and travelling Eastwards across the country so it may get across the water to ye.

Nope. Haven't played for about 4-6 weeks now. I think that's actually the longest I've gone without playing since I started a few years ago. :(

Went up the range today and annoyingly I hit the ball better than I have done in about 2 months since I started some swing changes :D

Even my driver wasn't that wayward.

I just want to go play and see if these swing changes hold up on the course.

I think we're due some rain this week and temps might get up to a blistering 8 degrees. :D If you believe the weather man.

Played two weeks ago today on a frozen course with the West Bromwich Albion Golf society at West Midlands Golf near Solihull. Bounced two drives across lakes and still won with 38 points. :-) My first win ever !!

I played last sunday on a completley frozen course, was hoping to get out on wedensday but looks like it might have to be thursday as i don't think all the snow will have thawed by then

I just heard a large woooshing sound and a rumble which was the snow falling off the roof so clearly the temperature is rising.

Don't want to be doom and gloom but has anyone just seen the BBC news and weather ?
No flights pretty much in or out of the east coast of America - New york having a foot of snow and what do they say. What America gets we get a few dyas later.
And for good measure at the end off the BBC forecast it flashed up heavy snow warning :(

craw, last time i heard the snow falling off the roof, the damned gutter came off as well! £180 later!

Last game I had was the 17th November and I haven't even looked at my clubs since then.
Combination of a stinking cold/flu and the weather has put paid to that.
Quite happy not to play again until March/April

Ya southern Jessie. :D
Put a jumper on and get out there.
Man flu my a**e, there's no such thing.
Get some fresh air down you, it might even improve your driving :D
When you get back, let me know how you got on.
I'm staying put playing with my new sat nav. Did you know my house is 192 miles from Bexhill :D

Only had a couple of days break from golf down here in Newquay, been a bit cold & frosty and no snow so we have played quite a bit over the last few weeks, and only on temps for a couple of rounds, raining here today so thats the end of the frost...
