Is there any interest ?

I followed exactly what you are saying, you can get them at the same price or cheaper on eBay, with protection of getting ripped off, and I've said go fill your boots, I couldn't care less.

Iv found 36 pro v1 and some v1x since I joined my course in may, I don't think people look for the balls anymore just hit a provisional and keep going,

Much be a lot of rich golfers round your way at £3.50 a ball.

That was my thoughts too I hate loosing anything and if I paid £3.50 a ball I wouldn't want to use it in case I lost it, I don't really buy balls I find loads and the ones a did buy are still there, I was thinking along your lines of keeping the good ones for sale

It's a golf ball, and as such I don't get worked up about losing one or however many. Way I look at it, if I cant afford a golf ball every now and then then I cant afford to play the game.
I use Wilson DX3 urethanes:)

Your best bet is pre- sell the balls at some forum meet you're going to attend, saves you postage , gets you a game plus you'll meet some good people, win win win . thumbs up.

Believe me, it's got nothing to do with the price of the ball, it's the two shots that it's costing me is where the pain is felt.

I keep the Pro v1s and Pro v1xs I find - currently got enough to last me a few years without having to buy a new ball - but over the last ten years have gathered thousands of all sorts. Not going to bother trying to sell them, but more likely just donate them to the club as range balls.

When Baldrick (seen here on my Avitar) was still alive he used to love hunting golf balls, would find 20 to 30 per night. Mostly crap ones but plenty of Prov's to keep me from ever having to buy balls. Tried selling the Srixon Ad333/ soft feel and a few other mid range balls which i had hundreds of. trouble is where i live it cost a small fortune in postage, so sold some to some from on here at a meet in the CB.

found a few guys a my club who wanted them and they brought Baldrick some treats and pigs ears in exchange for the balls;)

I don't use a specific ball yet, just working my way around the market so would certainly be interested if you are selling them at the right price ! Drop me a message with what sort of deal you could do on 20-30 balls (Mixed bag or whatever, A grade-Pearl condition ideally)

I did ask earlier for a price. I have looked through the posts since and I still can’t see how much you are selling them for. If I have missed it, I apologise

Simple process. If you get hung up on losing the cost of a new Pro V, buy something cheaper. Loads of great options out there these days. As for the OP, has he considered giving some to the junior section. I know from experience our younger golfers get very excited and are really grateful when someone gives them a top quality ball as opposed to the Pinnacles etc they are use to playing with

You did indeed ask, my apologies.

Given certain previous posts where it was stated that one can get them as cheap on ebay "with protection" I'm not entirely sure you'd be interested, but I will be selling them for £1.50 a ball, i.e. £18 a dozen, plus delivery, so possibly not worth your while.

It's absolutely cool, my pro has already offered to sell them at £1.20 a ball for me with him taking his cut. As I've already said, this is not about trying to make money, it's about me getting carried away and now have a house full.

I would throw it in my practise bag but I certainly wouldn't game it, golf ball snobbery ? Guilty as charged.

TBh ive so many balls i reg chuck undesirable balls back on the fairway for others to pick up.
got so many practice balls now (used Prov1) i often just take a carrier bag full to Tain and hit them on their range and leave them there. do the same if i go to opens.

Yep know what you're saying, got a full practise bag of rocks and two full tubes of old proV1s for around our chipping green.
