Is it wrong to be looking forward to cleaning my clubs?

Mrs. is off out tomorrow night with the girls from work so I have a night in, just me and my clubs. Going to give them a good clean ready for saturday's game. I'm very much looking forward to it.

No, i dont think its wrong, i look forward to clean my clubs because then you know if your clubs have been damaged, and that they are in good order for your next game.

What else wound I do? I have little money this month and saturday will be mostly spent driving three hours oop north to Lincolnshire for some golf followed by a friends' birthday bash at her house with loads of mates from school that I've not seen in nearly 8 years.

It's the calm before the storm if you will

Plus, it's not going to take me all evening. I might even push the boat out and watch a film

I dont look forward to cleaning them but once I am doing them so to speak, I quite enjoy it.

A nice soak for them, then a rinse and clean with a even spray of wd40 and a drying off outside followed by a wipe down... you could say I enjoy it...
