not playing as its very wet and windy and baltic, however, practice range tomorrow then shaft fitting, should be fun and interesting

Yep. Just got back to the shire after a 3 hour drive. Up in 6 hours then meeting GB72 at 10 at Belton
Park. Light rain forecasted, which I can cope with...I think. Hope we aren't on temps but either way, it's a round of golf.

Looking forward to trying out a set of AP2s on our roll up this morning. Our pro has a set of AP1s and AP2s members can take out for a round at the moment, and I tried out a mates AP2s a couple of weeks ago on the range and was hitting them better than any club I've tried. (His shafts were S300s and I'm pretty sure the Pros shafts will be R300s but the R300s should suit me better). Will let you guys know how I get on with them

You still got those nice new Mizuno irons you were picking up after Beau Desert or are they long gone by now!Same here Brendy....nothing like popping a new drivers cherry in a qualifier...mid month stableford for me....new driver, 3 wood, 5 wood & 4 hybrid..........not played for 2 weeks, forecast to pee it down.....what could possibly go wrong?ne:

Im looking forward to teeing off at 10:08 today however the forecast is not looking good! Around 12ish it's supposed to hammer it down. Waterproofs and Brolly at the READY! There is a bit of wind about (not from me) so it should blow over quit quickly, fingers crossed!

Played twice this week, for the first time in about 3 weeks. Comp on Sunday, so let's see if I get a good start to the season .... We've already cancelled 2 qualifiers for this year, so will be happy to get one under my belt.

Oh such memories, I used to be a member in the 80's and it was great. I visited last summer but not to play and it looks fantastic, new longer layout and driving range.

PLayed today for what felt like the first time in ages. I think because I was looking forward to it so much my expectations were high and played terrible on the way out. 
After I settled I parred 4 of the last 6 on the way in. (and got a birdie)

Managed to play 9 holes this morning... Started of in the cold wind, but sunny day. By the end of the fist, we could see a blizzard passing us my about 1/2 mile. By the time we got to the 9th, the second wave of snow hot us....

Wind......how could I forget about the wind........not played for 2 weeks, forecast to pee it down.....what could possibly go wrong?
...wind and rain....great combination......had a poor start with only 9 points after 7 holes in the best of the weather....then it really started throwing it down and blowing hard and I completed the last 11 holes in 2 over gross......go figure 
34 points might scrape buffer...hopefully CSS wont come down.
Anyway........loved the new TM woods......swindle tomorrow with hopefully better weather....
