Is Chirk Golf Club in Wrexham still open?

I believe it had an 18 hole championship and 9 hole course. I heard it closed last year. Can anyone help please.

It has now returned to farmland although i believe that a 9 hole course on part of the land is planned.

Shame, I always liked Chirk - a good society course. Two mahossive par 5's on there, both over 600 yards.
