Numbers are available on the iPhone easily...this ‘trick’ is to gain a trackpad like ability to navigate through documents, texts etc.

Well, I never knew that! Thanks for posting.
You may have seen the iPhone photography adverts on Facebook. Some of the stuff you can do with the camera on an iPhone that most users don’t seem to be aware of is pretty cool. Maybe tech nowadays is so comprehensive, the manufacturers aren’t able to get across all the features to users that easily.
And then you have the whole iPhone v Android debate, where it seems you are one or the other and each side refuses the see the good points in the other. I showed a friend (Android ☹️) a trick I picked up on iPhone photography the other day and he just said it was s*#t. I asked him why and he said “ cos it’s Apple” 😀
