I been using Teeshot Live on my iPhone 3G for the past 4 months.
Really good app.I've looked at a few before and this seemed the best.
You can map your own courses with a downloadable course creator. But it only lets you mark center of greens. You basically use Google Maps to get the Lat and Long and then enter them against the hole.
You can upload it to their database then download it to you phone.
It also lets you record distances for each club as well.
tbh, the GPS facility on the iPhone is a bit weak for this kind of thing. It has a tollerence of +/- 10 yards and can take some time to sync. That's why I ended up getting a skycaddie.
This will apply to all apps, not just teeshot.
I still use the app for recording my rounds and it allows you to upload them to a couple of online score tracking sites which is really useful.
