Just thought I'd introduce myself. My name is Liam and I've recently decided to take up golf again, due to this I don't have a handicap. I'm currently using a cheap Slazenger set because it doesn't make sense to splash out on quality clubs when I'm at the level I am. I don't think I'll post too much as I'm mainly looking to pick up wisdom and advice but that's the basics about me.

Hiya Liam, you'll learn loads on here, not necessarily anything to help your golf but hey! You never know!

Sedgley golf course at the minute, it is only a 9 hole course though. I had lessons in the past when I was 13 but I've grew about 8 inches since then so I've changed quite a lot. My Dad taught me to play and he was playing off 11 back in his day, so I'd say my basics are solid. I had my first round last week and I was +13 after 9 holes. :o

get stuck in and join the fun in the madhouse.

+13 for 9 is a decent enough starting point we've all been there. It will come enjoy the journey it will no doubt have many highs and lows. :)

I used to use Sedgley too, is Richard Falconer the teaching pro there still? He is really good and I heartily recommend him.
