Injury when at golf

Got me thinking what's the worst injury you've suffered when at golf?

I was on a putting green somewhere in Kent with guys I'd never played with before, I bent down to place my ball using my putter to steady myself. It slipped and I toppled forward and did a complete head over heels.

Not only the worst injury on a golf course but the worst injury known to man... hit my ankle with my putter.

Did that with a sand wedge knocking sand off my shoe ,god it hurts.

Hit on head with a full drive is mine .
Knocked me out for a good while.
Blues and twos to A&E full brain scan ,luckily they found one.
Had Vertigo for several weeks but no lasting damage.
But I am blaming it for my handicap going up.

I always get a very bad reaction to them. The worst was when one got trapped down the back of my shirt collar I was bitten 4 times.
I resembled Quasimodo for a week.

I won’t wear shorts playing now because of horsefly’s.
Two bites on the back of my knee couldn’t walk the next day.
Horrible things.

HiD broke her arm avoiding an errant tee shot following a shout of Fore, truwd to duck down behind her trolley and got legs tangled up and fell on her right arm
