when you get an estimated date for playing again I think we should fix an official date for a meet to celebrate the return of your right hand, and all your other bits, onto a golf course. We can then make it an annual event (well even the Open started with a bunch of thirteen or so guys playing for a posh belt...) and in a hundred years people will be talking about it on forums of the future, guessing as to how it got it's name.
BTW, what shall we call it?
Get well soon, watch lots of videos of amazingly good golf swings, read inspirational autobiographies and you'll come back better than ever.

Thanks for that, no ideas as for the name of the event though!

I have had many hand injuries in the past and have always healed pretty quickly so Im hoping to pick a club up at 4 weeks or so at the range.

Words cant describe how annoyed I am by this but then its hardly the end of the world and there are many worse off than me.

O dear mate, that is bad news, get well soon.

PICTURES!!! :D
Exactly what I was thinking Tony!
Jon, if ever there was a time to get some reading and putting practice, after the initial pain, get back out and keep your touch on the greens razor sharp. Hope it heals quickly and well.

Really feel for you mate. Don't try to come back too early, you could aggravate things is you do too much too early.

If you can't manage to do the important things in life with your left hand, perhaps HID will oblige  after all, you don't want to use a straw for drinking your beer, do you?

sorry to hear about the injury, get well soon.

You can always go to the range and hit balls only with your left arm. They reckon it's an excellent way to improve your swing and a lot of pros can hit the ball nearly as far with one hand as they do with both. - See always light at end of tunnel.
You'll have to learn to do a lot of things with your left hand ;)

Mate, thats a sh1tter...
"Summer it's not, if a bright side has to be found" as Golfing Yoda might say.

Looking on that bright side- you could probably still beat the likes of me with your one good hand!

Hope you're back on the track soon, I hear there are plenty of one handed websites you can be looking at while you recover ;)
