Just wondering if anyone does any drills indoors for working on their game.
With the weather been so bad I’m thinking something might be better than nothing.

I've got a few drills I can do, but they are specific swings that I am working on my swing for so could well be irrelevant for you.

If you are wanting something to do indoors that will definitely help your swing I would get on youtube and find some golf specific mobility exercises to do.

Putting is always something you can work on indoors, even in carpet you can check the ball is rolling end over end as an example

I get the puttout mat out. My 6ft and in putting has definitely improved since I’ve had it. Super easy to practice, and if your floors aren’t level (like mine!) it becomes very easy to practice different breaks too!

Carpet putting helps me. Our downstairs one is fairly threadbare and recreates fast summer greens. Upstairs is newer and does likewise for the slower ones encountered in winter. Not sure I've convinced the wife of the advantages.

Check out Tour Golf Network, a lot of the drills I'm doing through that are indoors purely using towels and my ball striking and compression is the best it's ever been.

Here's a good example of the sort of stuff it includes:

I hate indoor drills. In my opinion you’d get more out of working on your fitness and functional power.

Hate is a strong word but I do find it hard to take seriously. Without a club in my hand it feels like I'm just waving my arms about aimlessly. Even a putting mat would probably bore me after 5 minutes of hitting the same putt.

Watched this last night and started doing the towel drill in the office, quite hard to get the synchronisation right.

That’s why I hate them. Not really a strong word as I don’t do them because I hated them. If I didn’t like them it would suggest is still occasionally do them 😉
