The weather boys and girls are suggesting that we have a warm few days coming up. Has anyone got any plans to take advantage of this before the winter hits?

Off to play golf on Saturday from 8 until 11am (ish). Get in as many holes as possible. Only two of us so we should get most of the way round if ts not too busy. Would like to get out on Sunday too, but don't think HID would be too chuffed.

Golf on Friday afternoon, Medal on Saturday, casual knock on Sunday between coats of paint, Probably play Monday, as I'm on holiday and it would be rude not to, then drive oop north for a few days, culminating in thrashing the Jocks at Goswick.

The two ladies of the house have some sort of dancing festival to go to so am left to my own devices all weekend.

18 holes at The Wrwickshire on Saturday in a club team end of season freebie.

36 holes round Chipping Sodbury on Sunday.

Might need a long bath and a good rub down with a chamois leather after that.

Too busy to get out in the evening, going to Dundee to get drunk on Saturday, Sunday will be a write-off, back at work on Monday...

Maybe some carpet putting can be squeezed in but that's about it :(

Mate, that's really sad to hear. Remember being burgled when I was a kid, my mother was so upset that we moved house within 6 months, not nice.

Well, waiting for my new clubs to arrive this week.

Probably get some decortaing done this weekend as the extension is finished and the carpets are going in as we type, or we may take the nipper to Rosemoor Gardens for a run around.

Sunday - Wollacot Salver at Bude.

Smithy - feel for you mate. Someone broke into our house when we were asleep in bed. If I had been 30 seconds quicker getting down the stairs I'd have caught the oik as well (although no knowing how that would have turned out!!)

He did me a favour though as they knicked the car and my knackered Hippo's were in the boot. Managed to get a new set of G5's out of it!!! :) After about 8 months we moved to Cornwall.

Rather annoyingly it's my other half's birthday tomorrow, so we're going away en famile for a long weekend. Might get to a pitch and putt with the step-son-in-law but that'll be about it.

There's a pool though, so I'll take the opportunity for some rare exercise however.

I've got the Police coming round to take 2nd statements regarding the burglary we've just had

Sorry to hear that Smiffy, horrible experience :(

They didn't take much, and we think we know who it was..
But the Missus is distraught to think that somebody has been in the house while we weren't there.

Only experienced this once but we had to move in the end - any late working had HID standing at the front door waiting for my car to arrive!

This is not an easy experience for anyone, especially a female, to get over ...the intrusion into 'OUR' space leaves a soiled feel!

Recommend brandy & port with a touch of lemon, after three HID will be seeing the incident in a better light!
