Im in the process of changing a lot of my clubs,i have just sold my cobra bafflers,my Ping G10[big mistake] and my burner 3 and 5 wood which i havnt sold yet.I now have purchased the Ping G15 driver and 3 wood and am contemplating the hybrid.I am finding at the moment that the G15 is not as good as the G10 and the 3 wood is not as long as my burner but im going to persevere, the reason i decided to change is because of the reviews i have read recently. My question is what made you change clubs?and is there a club you regret letting go?

I have a good friend who is a club pro this means that I get to hit litterally everything that comes out with most shaft combinations,so everything is tried and tested before it gets to my bag.

I change when I am bored of what I have in the bag, or when it starts to look too tatty, or when there is something new and shiny on the market that draws my eye. I would never 'out' something because someone elses review of new kit sounds good. I would need to be drawn to it myself.

I don't religious look out for new gear but I'm good mates with the pros at our place so get to have a bat with whatever I like the look of.

I've never bought anything because of a review though. That may point me towards something but not until it has been well hit does it get a look in with my bag.

I religiously look out for new gear but never buy it cos im always skint, however like most people I never buy before I try.

My buddy was after a 3 wood last month. We both went into the shop believing he would walk out with a G15, it was the last of the clubs we tried that we would have bought. he ended up with the Burner 09, I would have taken the TM Super Speed(of those we hit)

I'm always looking to try new gear. Not necessarily to buy per se but to see if I think it really lives up to the hype. Very few have recently including the R9 driver and irons and the G15 driver (in my hands anyway). On the other side of the coin the I15 irons do as do some of the Mizzy range
