Just come back from a society day where I played out of my skin. Off 15 I hit 77 (first time I have broken 80) and had 46 points. I won and had the nearest the pin. Can't believe it.

Now on a real high, bring on the weekend.

I got hauled in front of the committee to explain 45 points many years ago. It's hardly anyone's fault if you/we get better.

My short game just came together. I drove straight (unheard of) and I didn't 3 put once (even more unheard of - my nickname on the course is moped)

I played at Brickendon Grange nr Hertford. First time I have played there and was very impressed.
