If you could make a golf product what would it be?

A chipper that looks like 7 iron.

A ball that wants to go in the hole.

A see through support that sits on your stomach that you can rest a belly putter on.

Beige trousers that look cool.

iron covers that look cool.

Im afraid not. I wish i had the skills and money required to invent a golf product. Unfortunatly for me, i will be back to my day job tomorrow as a spark.
I posted this question as i thought it would be a good ice breaker, from previous forum experience it can be hard to fit in as some forums have their regular group that talk between themselves.
Ive started my first thread and got people discussing so im happy with that.

I was only pulling your leg. Welcome to the forum. I'm new on it too and it's great. Dive in!!

Cracking thread - it's given me a giggle.

I'm new here too (joined about a fortnight ago). I know what you mean about the 'closed shop' menatlity on some forums, amongst the older hands. But everyone's been genuinely welcoming and gracious towards me on here.

Like Moquillo said: "Dive in".....the water's lovely! Welcome aboard, mate (sorry for the badly mixed metaphor there!).

A lot of interesting ideas. I will leave it to those with the sharp marketing mind or time to sit alone in the shed and achieve the wonder idea that rakes in the money

It doesn't take any interesting ideas for me to sit alone in a shed, H. I'm quite happy in there with my out-of-favour clubs and dried up pots of Dulux Magnolia.

Heated grips on the electric trolley.
Invisible balls for a perfect round.
A portable soft spike cleaner for use in muddy conditions that can be used standing up. Call it 'Senior's Friend'

Welcome newly joined Forumers.

Right, I'm studying for a degree in Product Design.

I'm your man if you want anything designing. I will only ask for a royalty on any future sales ;)

A ball that performs like a Titleist, but stays in brand new condition for ever and can never be lost as a chip in implanted into your brain tells you where it is!
