Golf wise, it depends what time of year it was. I'd love to spend a Summer playing the open rota (plus Royal County Down). If it was Winter, i'd head some where warm and tee it up.
Buy a place in the US at somewhere like Torrey Pines (near the in laws) and retire

Just the opportunity to have a huge amount of cash ruin my life would be great..... I am sure I would take my wife to some of the great places I have been and the boy to the others 
. I would play golf most of the time, perhaps have a few nice meals, buy a banger of a car and give it the full on works underneath ( surprise cars are cool). Perhaps buy house next to some councillor or politician and subject them to poor decisions...

Played it this weekend. A long wet slog would be the best way of describing it.
I didn't see it at its best but..... It's an average course with 3-4 good holes.
And they charged me £14 for a beef sandwich also!!
