so get my name on the board. I played steadily for the first twenty seven holes, let a few shots go on the greens on the last 9 and thought I had ruined my chances with a 10 on the last (bunker trouble) but fortunately I had done enough already.

Well pleased and a little tearful when i got the cup.

I have to say that I didn't find 36 holes too bad, I took note of suggestions that had been posted on here, fresh socks, change of top too, plenty to drink and bananas, so thanks for those.
I had a caddy for the 2nd round too which was a great help.

Just a note about the mens championship, the winner broke the course record and had a hole in one!
as did another guy.

No, no cut, Junior, but if I could iron out a few little bugs, more cant be far away. I started the second round with 3 pars in the first 6 holes, could kep it up though.
