I want to enter a National Golf competition... Which ones are worth entering?

Some good venues pairs with finals in Spain. Yorkshire golf online society next event ex Ryder cup venue moortown not tried myself as pairs events.

I am North East based

It's ok, the draws are regionally based, so yours will be north east and possibly Yorkshire.

If you just want matchplay then there is the League To Dubai and Volvo that I know of and am sure there must be others.

I've played in the volvo many times in singles and pairs, excellent handicap comp and very well organised.

Howdidido also run singles and doubles.

Cheap to enter and the possibility of playing a few different courses, never paid for an away match yet, always been given courtesy of the course.

Im from the North East as well and this is a good season opening Matchplay comp

its only £25 per pair and the first round is on a home & away basis so even if you get knocked out straight away you're guaranteed to play another course
