I,ve only got a little one!

Isn't a little bit of lead tape under the grip the normal way to get the balance back to what it was?

I had my Odyssey cut down to 34" and that's also the length of my Pinfire. I'm 6' tall.

Thinking of getting my Yes Tracy cut down a couple of inches as I can't get comfortable over the ball and am standing too far away, resulting in the toe of the putter being off the ground.
Have tried gripping down the shaft but this feels really weird.
If faced with a long putt I sometimes scuff the ground with it, resulting in a first putt that comes up way short and makes 3 putting a certainty.

I used to grip down the shaft on a putter but wearing anything other than a polo top the top of the grip would catch my sweater/coat etc, so mine is cut down to 32" without being adjusted for weight.
I've no idea if it matters or not because I'm rubbish, but I think I remember Robobum saying his was cut down without having weight added and he's a decent putter.
