You can do this to affect the flight, but you can't change the lie angle. To me, if it points left at address, it will go left when I hit it. This is why my R7 had to go. I could get a weak fade to bring it back through moving the weights, but why not get a driver that sits square in the first place, and hit it long(ish) and straight?

I do have lead tape on my lob wedge though, to change the swing weight.

Agree. Why do manufacturers make clubs that don’t sit right. TM Burner is a good example, the standard model has a draw bias, I don’t want that and to get it right I’ve got to pay extra for the TP model. In my opinion TM lost out on my custom and why should I pay extra to get the club the way it should be in the first place.

All the TP versions sit open at least 1 degree (check TM's web site). TM don't make a driver that sits square.
For the TP, the better player is supposed to want to manipulate the face from open to closed, to facilitate a draw, and so the face starts open at address.

They don't do a driver for me, who is neither a good player, or a serial fader who wants a closed face.

If you want a driver that sits square, Titleist is one of the few that make one (all Titleist drivers sit square).

I can't see what is wrong with: align square, take it back square, hit it square, ball goes straight. How hard can it be.
