Yabba Dabba Doo !
Today, for the first time, I scored under 50 strokes over 9 holes and racked up 28 (twenty-eight!) net points - even though it didn’t feel like it at all!
If that had been a handicap-relevant round, I’d have a new HC of 44 (forty-four!!!)!
Yeah, there were a few (really!) good shots, but also a lot of topped ones again.
But apparently, at least they rolled somewhat!
Let’s see how many of those I can salvage for the tournament on Wednesday evening !
But right now I feel anything but great ... !

Considering I had a severe dose of the "lefts" with the driver, to sign for 31 points is a bit of a result to be honest...
The wi d is due to pick up over the next few days...some holes are going to be virtually unplayable with the rock hard ground....
At least it's entertaining...

I did this a few years back and ironically it was a guy in American golf that told me what i was doing wrong. I went in to actually look at putters and told the guy why. He looked at me putting and said “a new putter will not solve that”. He said “me looking up at the ball rolling pulls the left shoulder up and pulls the putt”. I just couldn’t work it out and it was killing me. Massively helps to keep looking at where the ball was for a Second once it has been hit.

Weird that. Looking up cause me to miss right with a push.

Had a shield match today at Worsley golf club, I was giving 9 shots and happily won 3&2 with closed eyes for the shorter putts, I played pretty well, but it was a struggle against someone who was a shorter hitter than me but very good on the greens. the team won as well, so we are off to a good start, 2 away wins so far.
