Blame the weather and you relaxing mate, had the shanks badly last year, got through them, had 4-6 months with no issues and 3 appeared yesterday.

Putting it down to a one off and trying to totally forget them as as you say they do terrible things to your head when stood over the ball.

Weather was great. Cold wind but sunshine all afternoon. So much so that none of us noticed the sun until we got back to the clubhouse and you had 16 beetroot faces all sitting together. Had to put a ton of aftersun on when I got home.

First time experiencing the shanks, my miss is normally a big pull left. As you say, hopefully it’s a one off but it couldn’t have come at a worse time, I finished DFL with a net 94.
