I don't like to brag, but for those of you who are stormbound today, I played at Carnoustie this morning in a warm gentle breeze with the sun on my back and wearing only a short sleeved shirt (Above the waist). The course was in fantastic condition with full greens which were being ironed as we went round. On returning home I have just given the lawn it's first cut of the year, which is the earliest it has even needed cutting, normally it is the third week of March before it is cut. Looks like Global Warming has come to Scotland!

(It'll probably be snowing by the end of the week!)

Great to hear that golf is being played somewhere in the Northern Hemisphere - how did you play ?

Very jealous, as although there were blue skies above Glasgow today, my course remains closed. The ground is still just too wet

Driving range it is then...

nice here today, but a touch of frost first thing.

My lawn is looking like its needing a cut too, but preying for snow in the Inverness area to last till march;)

i had to go to Brighton today for a hospital check up .
the wind was really blowing hard ,the sea was a thing to behold with huge waves crashing over the road in a couple of places.
with my dodgy knee i was really struggling to keep my balance as i walked from parking the car.
i wouldnt have ventured out on the course today.
must say though, it was cold.

Did you not have snow in the Trossachs? (not a euphamism...:) )
