Didn't buy but my lovely family got me some nice golf bits for my birthday today. Wife got me a Perfect Practice putting mat (Golf monthly top mat recommendation), an Adidas Chip Driver t-shirt (then new New York Taxi one) and a lovely Malbon 1/4 zip with a sort of geometric pattern on it. Son got me a nice Original Penguin hoodie and a Sinking Birdies Tiki pattern magnetic towel and the bag plate for it along with a couple of ball markers. He's only 15 and is a good lad.

After my driver shaft snapped last week after the bag falling over I headed back to Precision Golf to check to see if the shaft was still right for me as I have been missing lots left and was worried the weight was too light and I was not having anything to hit against.
After an hour of trying several shafts it was decided that due to the change in my swing since the fitting I have now gone up to a Graphite Design XC6 Shaft. Bit heavier and a bit firmer at the tip. Numbers were good on the trackman and a hefty cost of just under £400 for the shaft.
Thankfully I have Golf insurance and they will cover the cost of the shaft minus the excess for the damaged one.

That is a great deal if the new shaft is an upgrade and costs more than the broken one. Normally the insurance companies try and go like for like.

Fancy, I use my an old sunglasses soft bag thing that has one of those plastic ball things to secure it. For the golf balls, pitch repair, tees, marker etc that I normally use they are in a zip lock plastic bag.

Just shows how much mark up companies charge for adding branding. The word “vokey” adds £100 to the price tag.
Every sector does it, eg Nurafen is 10x non branded ibuprofen

Sadly regular, but just completed the gapping session with my coach and despite 2 degree weaker lofts than my current irons, I've gained 5 yards per club, with the same land angle at 45 degrees, more consistent spin and the best news for me, I am back using a 5 iron
Yes, I've paid for the iron set, but the fitting fee at £25 was refunded and I managed a discount from the club pro getting the order.

But they are faster acting, they go straight to the site of pain! While regular ibuprofens just amble about aimlessly I guess.

Do they or are you buying into the marketing hype. Never my life has a Nurofen worker quicker than other ibuprofen, plus the “they go straight to site if the pain is marketing guff”. No pain killer goes to the site of the pain! They affect the pain receptors in the brain which makes you think it no longer hurts, the pain is still there it’s just your brain has dulled the sensation as it’s been manipulated to.

Ping G440 Max 7 wood. Only wedge replacements to go, but will wait to see the new Ping S259 wedges in the flesh as the E grind is coming in a normal pear shape wedge rather than the fugly Eye 2 tribute.
