I bought today.....

Took the Ping G430 Max 10k out on a round today (have G430 max now) and it's staying in my bag!

The G430 max was the best driver I've ever had, but this is another level, in terms of flight, distance and forgiveness.

Have to tee it lower, as the head profile is thinner top to bottom, plus I played at 10.5 degrees, normally I'm plus one degree and may even knock it back one. It goes miles in the air!

As someone that played a lot of football (a lot!) I maintained a 32" waist and a constant 11.5 stones until I was 40. Weight has slowly crept up and now the waist is expanding with that. Need to halt it there though.

Same. But bizarrely, in some brands I'm back to 32" again because the manufacturer has increased the sizes. I know my waist has expanded, why are Puma trying to tell me i'm still a 32?

Any idea how big of a difference numbers wise? Been eyeing up the G430 Max 10k since it's release as an upgrade from G425 Max!

To be fair, no.

I grabbed it for the back 9 and was immediately impressed with it's ease of use. That said, I was hitting the centre of the face on all but one, when I teed it up a little high and it simply went higher and shorter, but the G430 max may have not forgiven that shot as well.

I am out again tomorrow and suspect the G430 max v 10k will initially not end up a massive distance gain for me, due to the higher flight, but when I settle in I would say there will be a gain, just not yet sure how far.

Well, I tried to buy some new shoes today. Drove to AG in York...waste of my time. I really don't like shoes with pointy toes (which most are), very little without pointy toes. Thought about a pair of Adidas, but basically nothing in the store in half sizes...which of course I need. 10 is just a hair too small....11 just too big. So I went to Taco Bell and pigged out (y)

Bought new wedges (54/58) to 'match the set' and hate them. Yes, I need to practice, but messaged the guy who bought my 56 SM9 and he's agreed to flog it back to me, so at least, until I get used to the new ones, I can get out of bunkers now!

MrsA appears to be embarrassed that I leave the house to play golf when it's raining dressed in a variety of modified and mismatched old dog-walking waterproofs. As a result, I was authorised today to order some nice looking Sunderland waterproof trousers and jacket.

A new addidas polo shirt from AG.

It was from the store than got raided a few weeks ago - they said over 2 raids by the same gang they got away with £30k of stock and the police have been useless

She doesn't seem to need a reason. Most days I spend at home are heavily punctuated by deliveries.
Our IFA sent a "lifestyle" spreadsheet through for us to complete. The idea is to work out our average essential and discretionary spend as part of an exercise to see when the wife could retire.

One of the categories was Clothing. I estimated my monthly spend at £10. She estimated hers at £200 😀

Fortunately at least half of it goes back, so it's more like £100, but even so...

So she's retiring at 80 then? 🤣🤣🤣

Yep. The words, "It was free delivery if I spent over £100. It's probably all going back", is like a mantra in our house.
