I tried the 850 pros a week or so ago with KBS tour shafts. Really nice. Need to get a few more pro shop vouchers.
Can't believe you were never tempted by a set of shiny Australian Blades, back in the day. I used to love my Peter Thomson's.

I bought the X2Hot irons when my game was at its lowest ebb after a disasterous group of lessons. I certainly found them easy to hit and long, but I have a buyer for them and just loved the JPX's when I hit them - I hope I've done right, time will tell

I had a fitting for exactly the same irons yesterday. My swing speed with a 6 iron was only 67MPH. So recommended I get a graphite shaft. Tried that and was getting 7 yards more carry on average then my Pings.
Even tried MP4 as well to show me that the shaft was right for me, which I also hit better then my irons.
So apart from the shaft change everything else standard, had a think over night and decided to splash the cash. Might get them by the weekend or more likely next week!!

I think mine will arrive tomorrow, a wack at the range Tuesday and off to Spain Wednesday and hopefully I will give them a good testing

Chris I just assumed I'd probably be regular flex shaft. The mizuno fitter thought that my current irons shaft possibly a little stiff for my swing speed.
Shaft is Orochi flex A, everything else is standard. Went for 5 to pitching wedge. As top end of the bag is sorted 😃
Just really annoying that the shafts make it more expensive then steel shafts. But decided that as my irons would need the lie changing and them possibly being a little stiff for me. Hopefully this will take me to the next level 👍

That sounds a good choice and you've got to hope that the fitters picked right but I'm sure you'll love them!

They are due to arrive tomorrow. I plan to hit at the range Tuesday and then I have 6 rounds planned in 4 days in Spain from Wednesday and hope to give them a good work out. I will no doubt post on the results when I can
