I'm currently in the market for a set of new hybrid irons.

I am ideally looking for a 17 degree & a 21 degree to complement my irons ( I carry 4 iron upwards) - the 17 degree would most likley allow me to drop my 5 wood out the bag as I ralrely hit it.

I quite like the looks of the Mizuno JPX800 but have not seen a lot of reviews on them - Can anyone reccommend any decent easy to hit hybrids? Looking for height & forgiveness rather than the ability to shape the ball nonsense you good players look for!

All thoughts welcome.

You have described the mx700 hybrids to a tee. Stupidly easy to hit with a high but penetrating flight. I had a 17 and 20 degree for sale recently, sold them due to being to light in the head for me. They are getting cheaper now but a rival magazine gave them a gold award on test. Other easy to hit hybrids I have tried were the Cobra Baffler rail, Ping G15 and Ping rapture v2. I would of brought the G15 but as you looked down at it it made me feel sick :p
