As I posted earlier, How many forum members use Nike gear on a regular basis? How many have based their decision on Tiger Woods using their gear? In Europe I think not many. Nike can survive without Tiger and Tiger can survive without Nike.

Tiger leaving Nike for someone else would be horrible but not as bad as seeing Seve in Callaway that was just wrong.

If I ran Nike, I would sell up, keep some shares, retire, play golf anywhere I fancied and just have a ball.

Exactly my sentiments , people seem to be driven by greed. Take Tiger Woods , apparently he's been quoted as saying he doesnt feel financially secure
More money for bigger trinkets , bigger car , fancier holidays , bigger sofa , bigger house , bigger mortgage etc etc blah blah blah
I'll be retiring on my 50th birthday , the very earliest day I can. I will have a modest pension and some capital and will live a simple life which suits me down to the ground. Someone else can have my job and good luck to them

If I ran Nike I would drop Woods.
As to Nike golf stuff, I wouldn't buy it. Not clubs, shirts, shoes or balls. Their brand image and sweat shop reputation puts me off buying anything that they make.
That said, I did try a Nike driver once and it was okay but I would not want it in my bag because I am a complete snob.
I am a golfing traditionalist and the Nike brand does not sit comfortably with me in general terms. My view is that Nike golf stuff is aimed at golf relative newbies who think that Tiger Woods is someone to be placed on a pedestal. I am not one of these people!
Also, I don't know anyone that plays with Nike gear or wears it and I definitely walk around with my eyes open!

If I ran Nike I'd produce better looking shirts. I have never seen anything I would put on from them. As to Tiger I see no reason to drop him unless he gives up professional golf completely but I dont know the exact terms of their contract. Did you hear about any other golfer having an extramatrimonial relation? I didnt and I have strong doubts that there is none.
