It’s put paid to Captain’s Day at ours; more of the 18th under water than not when I left and we drain well, as some on here can testify.

Shame for a big date in the diary. Will they reorganise soon? I passed a local course today which had standing water everywhere and put paid to a club match. At least we didn't get the strong winds that were due to accompany the rain

I have a cracking video clip of the head greenkeeper full on swimming on the 5th fairway during the raining spell we had 6 months back

What rain? Had nothing too bad here. Just gale force winds. Looks like rain over the weekend though sadly.

Well this was certainly true. Absolutely soaked on the golf course Saturday. Soaked again playing football Sunday morning. Sunday afternoon brightened up nice, when I wasn't doing anything.
