I know we spoke about this on here a number of months ago, I still think it will not end, some elements of the restrictions will be with us forever, unless people are willing to be less human and accept death and that we can not save everyone at any cost all the time.

Being serious again for a minute, Prof Whitty said yesterday it will eventually become another flu, in that we have to vaccinate annualy as it mutates, and it becomes a political decision as to how many they are willinv to lose to it (a bad flu winter can kill off 20k)

I am somewhat of a realist and go with the view that it will be like the flu. There will still be those that catch it and will die from it.
The vaccine will continually need to be modified and will not be effective for everyone and there will be loads that will not take it.

..and for those not taking the vaccine how might their employers view these workers if they go off sick with covid?...chances that some employers will mandate their employers are vaccinated?

Recommended, not compulsory I believe. Never had to produce a vaccination record abroad.
