How To Repair A Driver?

I have a 'dink' roughly 3mm square on the crown of a black driver (Mizuno MP630 Fastrack), god knows how its happened, but it is only minor but bugging me.

Apart from a blacck sharpie does anybody have any ideas?

Use black enamel paint. You can get very small tins of Humbrol from any model shop. Apply thin coats(let dry for 8 hours between coats) until you bring the level back up. Then with very fine, wet&dry used wet with plenty of washing up liqiud in the water. Smooth until level. Leave to harden for a week then good car polish/ cutting compound. (T-Cut) polish until the shine comes back. Or just use your Black sharpie.

Sounds like the perfect excuse to go out and test the latest model. Tell HID it's affecting the integrity of the performance and you can't swing properly with the mark

In agreement here. I conned the missus into buying me a new set of irons for my birthday a few years ago. She still doesn't know that you can reshaft just 1 club if needed. Great result and I think it's time for a new set now and it's my birthday tomorrow. Just going to nip outside with my 4 iron and practice on some tree roots.
