Handicap cut last monday after coming 3rd in the mid week medal, enter Spring Cup Stadleford with high hopes and slam cant hit the dam ball for the first 9 holes and score 12 points better back 9 but only end up with 29 points and come 33rd. Is it just me or can this happen to anyone

I feel your pain Nev.

Won the last comp of the year last season. Wintered, basking in the glory and convincing myself that I was now a proper golfer.
Here we go, first comp of this season. Full of optimism, made a right pillock of myself and came home with 26 points and a .1 rise!

Happens to me all the time. Play reasonably well in a roll up so full of confidence in the comp and find fresh ways to nous it up

Happened to me on sunday,first proper comp of the season,been playing well for weeks,and for the first 9 holes score 12 points,back 9 played so much better 18 points for a 30 point total and a 0.1 increase to take me to 12 h/cap,not the start i was looking for,just have to work on getting it back down now....
