How often do you change your glove?

My current glove, a Wilson Feel-Plus all-weather, is beginning to show signs of wear... i've worn away a patch around the thumb, and the glove is beginning to feel a little loose on my hand. Its lasted 6 rounds and 1000 range balls, and I suppose its time to be changed.

Just wondered when/how often others changed their golf glove, and the criteria for effecting a change?

Completely depends on the glove, at the moment I'm using a Nike Leather glove and its very durable, 2 kept me going for about 3-4 months, but I've had others that don't last nearly as long.

I always buy leather gloves. Just like the feel

Not as often as I should but its winter and they get wrecked too fast. I do like the feel of a new one though and I need to change my grips to get the benefit of a new glove as stock TM grips don't last very long at all 😒

Bought a TM leather glove about 3 months ago and it's still good, no signs of wear and that's playing 3 to 5 times a week .

Bought 4 Mizuno carbretta gloves in Februrary and they are still going strong.First place they start to go is when I let my thumbnail grow too long and starts to push through the glove.Have A mizuno winter glove set too but hope not to use it much (for thr cold )

I go in stages, probably down a subconcious grip change. There are times I'll go through a glove in 5 or 6 rounds, but sometimes the same one lasts 3 times that.
It's a bit like grip wear. Some people are hard on grips, some don't wear them out quickly at all..

I buy in bulk (well 12 a year in one go), change when they show any signs of 'wear' - then use those gloves when warming up or more serious range work.

Given that the last lot of cabretta leather gloves (for next year) cost less than £4 a glove, and some people apparently pay over £3 for a ball and leave them lying around the course I can't understand why people don't pay more attention to their gloves.

It's a little like grips - I see people carefully cleaning their club heads after shots, even a quick scrub and dry using the club head cleaning facilities at the range (bucket and brush) but when you ask them when they last gave their club's grips a good scrub with hot soapy water they look at you blankly!

Change it whenever its worn out or has gone crispy from getting wet and thrown back in the bag all screwed up.

Think I bout about 2/3 in total last season, I change them when they start to wear out.

Trick is to use an old glove when at the range so the new ones are only used when playing on the course. When they start to wear they then become the range glove, then when they develop a hole they become the property of the bin.

ive just 3 this season and the only reason I changed was that the white glove looked really grubby.

I'll be buying a black Footjoy Weathersof GTX next season which will last the season

Since changing from Cabretta to the Footjoy Weathersof glove hardly ever. I've used the same one all season and it still shows no significant signs of wear. Cabretta is OK if you are getting them given like the pro's IMO

Probably every couple of months but keep the worn one for practice sessions .
