J_F,

Hope it wasn't a wind assisted shot into the fence, thats just not on! If it wasn't wind assisted then..... Whoooofff as Archie McPherson would say.

Aye might well see you there sometime. As to my club, I play at the Merchants been a member there since mid eighties.

No I'm not and I haven't played it yet. I just go there because I like the range. (it's a different enterprise from the GC) I play at Carnoustie. Hoping to play Forfar this year at some point. Working my way roung Angus.

£30 per month for unlimited balls, or £4 for 60, £6 for 120.

I usually go 3-4 times per week, especially over the winter, so it's excellent value for money.

£1 for 30 - but a basic shed range, marker boards at 100, 150 and 200; pin at around 130 and 3 nets at around 50 -75. Advantage is it's about 10 mins away and on the way home from work.
Alternatives:
AG £3.70/100 - slightly better shed, also on the way home
Directgolf - £4/bucket (60-70), electronic tees, lots of targets; short game, putting green and cafe being built. That's 30 - 40 mins in the opposite direction. (You can also get a monthly card which reduces the cost)
