McGregor Tourney
McGregor Tourney Custom 985
Ram Lazers
TaylorMade Burners
Mizuno MP52

Since 1973.

First three sets were in the first 3 years as I got better. The last three sets in the last 35 years as I have got worse.:(

A mix match of hand me downs
Pinseeker blades
Ping eye 2s
Cleveland Ta7s
Mizuno MP 60

5 sets in 27 years.

My first proper set was Wilson Patty Berg irons that I got in 1987. They were brilliant! They got nicked out of my club locker!!
I then had a set of Sundridge Technik irons which had graphite shafts and were far too long. I swapped them with my Dad who gave me a set of Wilson 1200GE irons.
In 1990 I part exchanged the 1200GEs for a set of Mizuno TP9s which were class.
I still own the TP9s (they're in my loft) but in 2009 I purchased a set of Cleveland CG reds. My Dad has these now as GM were kind enough to send me on the PH Wilson day and I got a set of Wilson FG Tour irons.

1 set since I took up the game in 2010.

Taylormade R7's Steel shaft (As sig).

And they're staying in. The only way they'll come out is if I find something that out performs them concistantly.

2 sets in the last 25yrs. some TM blades & powerbilt tour players.

On the look out for a new set. But can't find any I like. I have been looking for 12months.

i've had 5 full seasons at golf now since starting as a junior and i've had

junior clubs whatever they were,i can't remember.

titleist dtr
mizuno tp9
mizuno tp18
macgregor tourney
callaway x-14

In the 28 years of knocking it round i'll go with

half set of cheapy cast irons from a catalogue, snapped and bent under little provocation.
Set of Pinseeker irons, blades and quite nice for the standard/price
Titleist DTR's, lovely quality irons
Titleist DCI's, as above
Mizuno Mx 23's - as they say, nothing feels like a Mizuno
Ping Raptures, looked lovely, felt lovely, had em fitted but played pants with them
Mizuno Mx 200's, back to Mizuno's, you can't beat em.

Now Drivers and Putters, there isn't enough space.

I've used the same set for 17 years.......Ping Zing 2's.
I've probably had my money's worth wouldn't you think?
(I do get a new set of R11's in a few days though)!!

Slime.

3 sets in 40 years!

Titleist blades - still bring them out for a laugh, the 2 iron is a sliver of metal on a stick!
Mizuno semi-blades, part cavity (T-Zoid Pro)
Mizuno MP69's

Christ don't ask JJF69, we'll be onto page 863 of this thread in no time. I think he's had 84 sets of irons last season alone!

Mental.

5 in total from when I was a 5 year old!

- A half set of kids clubs that have been round all the grandkids in my family
- My grandads Forgan blades from when Forgan were actually in St Andrews. Used them until I took golf back up a year and a half or so ago, still in the cupboard.
- Cleveland CG Reds
- Clevleand CG1
- Nike VR Pro Forged

Had countless putters though........

3 sets. Started with some Prosimmon cheap things then Mizuno MX950 as HID told me forged was best and who was I to argue?! This October I changed to Ping G20's. Not as pretty as the Mizunos but very very forgiving and my game is reaping the reward so very happy with the change. Different, stiffer shaft as well which helps.

Old sets sold on Ebay so nothing lying round the place collecting dust !
