How many Eagles?

2 this year, both on par 5s that I've reached in 2.
Going for par 5s in 2 hasn't been top of my list of things to do this year.
Unless I'm around 210 or closer I don't bother going for it, preferring to be 10-20 yards short than 20-30 yards wide. Our greens have mounding to the sides making it trickier if you miss left or right. Miss short and its an easy chip.
It's shown in my scores too.
No real drivable par 4ss, certainly not with the distances I hit.

2 this year, both at our fairly short par-5 9th hole. One was a chip in from about 50 yards, and the other was a short putt after getting on in 2, after a good drive and a lifetime best 3-wood, helped by a following breeze. :)

2 for me, one was a 40+ foot putt and the second was a shocking shot, thinned a wedge at a speed approaching Mark 2, hit the flag, shot up about 6 foot and then dropped back down into the cup

How can you have half an eagle?

Was playing in clubs Mixed Greensomes a couple of weeks ago with the wife

For once I managed to find the middle of the fairway, she then proceeded to step up and knock it straight onto the green 2 bounces rolls in the hole :one:

In that case, can I claim a third of an eagle made in a Texas Scramble?! :mmm:

I don't really know how to break this to you. I'm just going to come out and say it. That doesn't count as an eagle, or even half an eagle.

Another one today - drove the third then sunk the putt
